curmugeonIt seems that recently the Department of Homeland Security has decided to kill web sites it deems trafficking in copyright material and in the ensuing crack down killed a few legitimate music blogs. This is the kind of censorship I was expecting, as the powers that be don't want to let anyone profit that isn't part of their tribe. Next you will find political speech targeted as the conservatives start picking new targets. Obama won't help, he has been bought and paid for by the oligarchs.
The next phase has already started as Wikileaks has been hit by cyber attacks that in all probability originate from the United States Government. We are entering the final days of democracy and the next war will start soon in cyberspace, as the oligarchs work to keep the people poor, dumb, and dependent on handouts of food and energy in an attempt to suppress change.
We are not doomed, but must realize that this government that purports to be a a democracy has been hijacked by the capitalists and does not represent the best interests of the people. The revolution will probably arrive sometime, but there will be a lot of suffering and blood letting before change really occurs.
