I have a helmet camera and now tend to use it more to document my rides, and hope that if needed it will provide proof of the actions of agressive motorists or people in general that can be used in legal proceedings. This has been happening in England where cyclists have used camera footage that has lead to civil and criminal cases against motorists who act aggressively or are hostile toward cyclists..  If you have a helmet cam, maybe you need to use it more.
