The "October Surprise" will be the capture of Osama Bin Laden. This will occur a few days before the election. This will lead to the re-election of George W. Bush. I would say this will occur on or about the 27th of October, 2004.

is whether or not they have him already, and are waiting until the election is closer before they bring him out... OR, if they will actually find him and tell everyone immediately. I'm normally not one for conspiracy theories, but I think that it's very feasible that they already have him, and they are just waiting for the right moment to "find" him.

There were leaks that the Pakistani forces were told to find a high value target for delivery in late July, preferably on the 25-27th. They delivered.
