There is a provision in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to allow the detention of terrorist subjects indefinitely without trial, and that would include the ability to detain an American civilian without trial. Any trial that person would see would be a military tribunal, and that person would not have the ability to challenge this detention in a court of law. There are just too many ways this can be abused, too many. We've already seen how many innocent people had their lives ruined by rendition and torture. Act now, and urge the Senate to kill the provisions in this legislation to safeguard ur rights as citizens.
