curmugeon | The day after

Just now I just woke up.. Sitting in front of the fire, thinking about what has to be done today. I just realized hat Monday is a holiday. When you don't go to work every day, hose things don't seem to matter much. Had oral surgery yesterday afternoon, a good oral surgeon, but I can tell that I was subjected to he trauma of having a tooth yanked from my jaw. My old body doesn't bounce back as quickly. I guess that is part of the aging process. Looks like it will be a few days before I'm back to normal. I'll be on a liquid diet for a few days... I guess I'll lose a few pounds and hat son't be too bad.
