I'm about 1/4 Indian (Native American)...the tribe is still in question, but I have Indian blood in my veins. My Mom was 1/2 Indian, she exhibited some characteristics of Indians, she had the darker skin tone and would become quite tanned if she spent any time in the sun. Her father was a full blooded member of either the Penobscot or Passamaquoddy tribe. I ran across this video, and I watched it... it shows how Indians were killed or stripped of their language, culture and dignity. Maybe we need to take another look at the American Holocaust...
