blind hate

All around the world hate is winning. There is a lack of acceptance that others may have as much right to exist as you, the reader does. I'm amazed at the hate. It seems the same poison that invaded the mind of the bombers is contagious. This hate and fear are what those who commit these acts want, it is first used by those who create terror, then by those who use the fear and hate to divide and enslave us. People are so blinded by hate and fear they are willing to let others take what freedom they have away in exchange for a false sense of security. The people who hate are letting terror win. Yes, we need to look closely at the reasoning behind the acts, to see the view of the world through their eyes. If we don't we won't see the problem and will not be able to correct it. Yes Amanda Palmer, you touched a nerve. You brought out the ugly american, that ethnocentric person who runs around wondering why everyone hates us. The haters fail to see that maybe our wars, the killing of innocents, the raping of the planet, and our indifference to others traditions, and our bullying of the rest of the world might be why terror exists? Maybe if we stop our terror, we can let the world heal. How about love, loving our planet, loving our differences, loving each other.

Okay, Amanda Palmer is a musician and wife of Neil Gaiman, the author. She wrote a poem about the surviving bomber, trying to get inside his head and what he was thinking. Just for doing that she got a huge amount of hate mail. It isn't the people of Boston, they are pretty much into helping each other.

The moving is in the frantic stages now. I find it interesting that it s so hard to even give things away. Today the dump is closed, tomorrow I'll be dropping clothes and other stuff (books) off at the local thrift store. I have a well repairman due to arrive at 3 p.m. to finalize the part of the job that was a bit beyond my skills, and I got a few things that are for sale. By mid month of May I should have the house empty and in escrow. I'll be making my new 'home' comfy and learning to live with much kess. Tomorrow I also will bring a load of stuff to storage, mostly stuff I will keep or will haul to my sister's house and my grand niece's place (two road trips for after the escrow closes).

No, I am busy and finding myself tired after the end of the day. I can't wait till it is all over.
