What's going on...

Sitting here wondering what old age brings. It is definitely not wisdom, time has left my parents fearful of this new world. Paranoia runs deep. They don't pay bills by check, the transact business with cash, the don't know how or don't want to work through voice mail systems, they don't trust doctors and HMO's, they think the world is out to get them. When Y2K was played up in the press they spent thousands of dollars hoarding supplies to support the time that would follow. I only hope that my faith will carry me well into my older years, something my parents never practiced, till now.
