The day was spent working through the details of getting my projects out the door. I'm now dealing with an office where the boss is sweating bullets because she has lost two people (both good workers) in the past month, we have a few more looking to leave and management is clueless as to why people will leave for the same pay and work elsewhere...it's the fringe benefits. Things like a shorter work week, compensatory time off, a path for advancement, that is what people want and I'll be starting my job search in a few weeks, looking to move to an area where I'm not priced out of the housing market.
