Charity

I found it amazing that to give clothing to a charity that would give it directly to people rather than place it in the thrift store was a difficult task. I finally went to a small local group that distributes food and clothing to the needy and indigent. It felt good to know that my father's clothes will help someone directly.

I needed this break...

The last few days have been somewhat troubling for me. One friendship ended, I still don't understand why, except the friend seems to be having problems with finances and is suffering some mental/relationship issues. Rather than be taken out of context, I decided to end it. I have a few items at their place but will be in no hurry to pick them up.

At work, things are getting bad, as the economic crisis deepens, nerves get thin, people are protecting their turf, and management seems to be ruled by dinosaurs. I was given a task to do that had been up to this time done by others, and I asked how do i do this, and spent the next 2 hours doing something I thought we had clerical to handle. I guess it is time for me to shop my skills in the job market and see what turns up.
