Whatever..

Today has been so-so. Woke up with a stiff shoulder, must be getting old, ha! Next on the agenda is a slow trip to work, going to wash the truck too. Called in sick this morning but am feeling better now. Back to work.

The local businessman's association is promoting a festival of food tonight, so off to see what is available to eat.

Fun evening

We out this evening to a local celebration, sort of a promotional street faire/sidewalk sale/meet and greet of local island merchants. They were selling tickets that could be traded for raffle chances or goodies, 20 tickets for $10. With my 20 tickets I got a BBQ combo plate (ribs, louisiana hot sausage, and penne and chicken pasta), 3 pieces of good sushi, a 16oz cup of good coffee, and some pumpkin pie. Along the way I entered numerous raffles and won two items. So, not a bad night. Met some of my fellow islanders, enjoyed the night under the stars, and now home wishing that I didn't have work tomorrow, but alas I have to drag my butt in there for one more day this week.
