As Serendipity didn't want comment, I'll take her quiz with a post...

1. I never had genuine fun with alcohol or drugs. I drink occasionally and socially but rarely more than beer or wine. My fun is usually drug and alcohol free.

2. Never need drugs or alcohol to have fun. A drink in a social situation sometimes serves as an ice breaker, but not always.

3. No, I see nothing wrong with your answers. Yes, I've seen what alcohol abuse can do to a person, I've lost two friends in the past to alcohol abuse.

A Change in the Weather...

After a long hot spell, tonight is cool, some coastal overcast present, the wind is cool and an on shore flow. Good sleeping weather. Productive work day, lent one of my mountain bikes to my immediate supervisor, he might buy it. Was going to ride tonight but now it's late, time to order a pizza, and settle in for the evening. I'm over the hump this week.

Just talked to my mother, she's been dealing with grief and has had a hard time dealing with my sister and things she said and did prior to my dad's death. It sounds like there may be peace in the family, or at least a chance of peace. I hope so as my Mom has to learn to forgive and my sister needs to understand. We'll see how long this lasts, and I hope for much more.
