Dec. 4th, 2002 07:12 pmOne of those days, managers wanting numbers crunched, but not one of them has mastered the art of communication. So, do one set, no no, that is not what they want, another spreadsheet, then another. Finally they agree, but then they want to pass the file to another manager, and they only want to show a pretty picture. So, you hide cells, make some fancy headers and footers, make the pretty picture and they are happy, for the moment. I figure I'll see this problem again when the division manager says that is not what he asked for or the person he presents it to says he wants to see the data. That's what they pay me for, so potential overtime.
