I spent the day with some ex-southern californians, walking on the beach, savoring a date shake at the little stand south of Corona Del Mar, walking the stairs of Laguna Beach visiting some slowly fading landmarks (have you ever seen the turret that stands next to the cliffs near Victoria Beach?). A good day was had by all.
