I guess it takes a certain type of person to be a Republican. I see the ads placed on TV this election season and I try to imagine who these people are who live by the beliefs they profess in their rhetoric. First, they must be ignorant, yes, ignorant. They watch F__ News, and think they are informed. They have a nationalistic and warped world view. They fear a small group of Islamic nuts who struck while they were asleep at the switch. They lie, in fact they live for the lie. I have yet to hear truth from the mouth of a Republican. Sure, Democrats lie, but we all knew that. In fact, all politicians lie, but Republicans have made it their mantra. The Big Lie. Along with their lying, they steal, they cheat, they are the poster child o evil. They are really bad at it too. The only real bad thing is that we all suffer because of their lies, and corruption. No, I hate Republicans. Yes, hate is a strong word, but I hate Republicans. Anyone who can claim to be a member of that party is someone I hate.

We need change. I don't see too much hope in the Democrats that are running, they are just thee same immoral souls with a different label. Very few of them can be held in high regard, but they will make change happen. We need a leader, a true leader, on par with John F. Kennedy. We may have one hope in Barack Obama, but he has yet to prove his moral leadership. We can hope, and hope we will.

Let us all vote, and pray, and dream, of a better tomorrow. Dreams are all we have left.
It seems we are a country of fat, dumb, and happy ignorant slobs. We're having an election on November 7th, and the Republicans are already saying they will win. I wonder why, but then, they do have the keys to the electronic voting machines, they will disenfranchise thousands of voters, and maybe they will use intimidation. Hell, this isn't  democracy anyway, that's something we export elsewhere, we don't have it here. Democracy never existed in the United States. We are a Republic. We have a two party system that fights like hell to stay in power. Can't have any upstarts thinking they are qualified for public office. Corporations set the rules, and they only want those people they own, so no Green Party, No Socialists, and definitely no Communistw.

There is no democracy in America. No freedom from religion, no freedom of the press. No, we're all in hell and we don't know it yet.

Truth is something a lot of people can't handle. The media knows that, so
does the government. You want truth? You're not going to find in this
country. Like I said, people can't handle it, so we get a steady stream of
lies and non-news to keep us fat dumb and happy. I hate to say it, but I
think our country is doomed. Joe Citizen doesn't want to know more than what
he's having for dinner tonight and when the next NASCAR race is. The
Republicans have figured this out; the Democrats have finally learned it.
Play to the lowest common denominator and you'll stay in power. The
denominator being race, gay bashing, right to life, or fear. If I remember
right, it was the Nazis that made this a science.
