This is what is happening people....the Bush legacy

As I read the local paper I discover that our fire service will be cut back, in a drought year no less, as the USFS (United States Forest Service) is closing the local station. Now instead of being 8 miles from a fire station, we will be 20 miles from a fire station. This is well thought out and put to words in this blog post...a good writer speaking his mind. In my case there is something else that has to be mentioned. The local county fire crews also use these stations, and provide paramedic services for the local community, so now the response time has gone from very bad to critical.
