Tyranny .....
Jun. 25th, 2009 01:11 amIt appears that a valiant effort by the people of Iran to gain a larger voice in the way they were governed has been brutally crushed by a military/security dominated dictatorship lead by a madman.
It will not be the end to the struggle although any action from this point forward will result in more deaths. Iran can now claim the title of having their own Tiananmen Square. The revolution has a martyr, Neda Agha-Soltan. May her memory live forever in the hearts of all freedom loving people.
At first I was opposed of any military action against Iran as I thought there was a way to change the tone through diplomacy, but now I can see that the present regime understands only one thing, force, brutal force, thus any action to end their nuclear program is justified.
Tyranny is like a cancer, and it seems to be spreading. We have North Korea, now Iran. As with cancer, the only way to defeat it is to kill the cancer before it spreads some more.
