This is 'real' california... I suggest that we re-open the House Committee on Un-American Activities and start placing Republicans under oath....

the oligarchs have conquered the Washington Post....

When the Washington Post posts a conservative political piece and calls it news is bad... now they own the front page.. and when they talk about cutting deficits, they aren't talking about cutting anything that involves the military-industrial-media complex... they go after Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, regulatory agencies, education, and other 'entitlement' programs.

When will the populace wake up and realize there is a war on the middle class ongoing? Your 'safety net' is being undone, one thing at a time.

This whole business about Homeland Security has become a multi billion dollar gambit to spend tax funds on law enforcement. I know that the City of Santa Ana where I worked got millions in grant money to provide 'toys' for police, especially camera systems and such that keep track of every car traveling through the city.

First it was Iraq, then Afghanistan, now Yemen... what about Somalia... we could keep listing countries but that would be futile, as long as we continue our current foreign policy, the number will grow. Thank capitalism and the need to exploit countries for resources.

where are we going?

A new year really begins.. the first work day of the new decade.... the more I read the news and the more I listen to people the more I realize we are in deep trouble. The oligarchs are slowly winning the war and we are quickly approaching the time when fascism will be in power. Kiss those freedoms you hold so dear good bye.

This decade will be the decider. How much will it take before people wake up and stand up for themselves? Everyone worries about taxes, but taxes are just one way of taking care of common problems, such as education, roads, water, sewer, parks, and public safety. People need to understand that if they want ll these things, there is a cost. Passing the buck and saying it is someone else's responsibility doesn't eliminate the fact that this has to be paid for.

We are in a depression... no doubt about it. The last depression was bad, this one will get ugly. It might even spark a revolution. No, I don't see a recovery this year, or even the next, but I see anarchy, hate crimes, and random acts of senseless violence in the future, as people take their frustrations out on the nearest target.

Be prepared for swift and oppressive crackdowns on anyone who stand to oppose what is going to be the new agenda.  Under the guise of anti-terrorism policy, we will lose more freedom, and very quickly find oursleves unwilling slaves to the oligarchs.

There have been a lot of conspriacy tales in past years, about camps, black ops, and secret agendas... now we will find out if they are true.
