The feds want to spy on your social networks...

This article in the New York Times gives a hint as to what the FBI is asking... another case of the government wanting our freedom and using fear as an excuse.  They are planning to push a bill through Congress next year when with a Republican majority in the House, it will probably pass. Most civil liberties groups oppose it because of the potential abuse by hackers and regimes that will crack down on dissidents. Oh, well... 1984 is going to become a reality series....watch for it, because your government will be watching you.

hate is a term I don't use often...

This article expresses my sentiments exactly... and in particular I love the protest where people re-shelved Bush's book into other areas of a local Barnes and Noble bookstore.

This man is evil personified.... and maybe in the future some patriot will make the article title come true.

want a balanced budget?

Time to consider a balanced budget... but there is a right way and a wrong way to do it...  a budget is really a moral document, something forgotten by Washington (and Sacramento)..what we cut should reflect our moral courage and convictions and promote the general welfare of the country. not the lobbying of corporate interests.

Seems we forget too easily.... we just saw the Republicans gain control of the House and almost gain control of the Senate.... this might explain it...

so the oligarchs want to buy the White House..

Seems that Donald Trump has expressed interest in being president...  for a Republican he might not be as bad as some possibilities.
