spying in the workplace.....

I can relate to this.... many times when I was working I got hints that I was watched when topics I had been researching for my job would suddenly be brought up as new ideas by management when they were dunces when it came to online research. They freaked once when they discovered I was using PGP encryption on some emails I sent. They couldn't read them as they did not have the key.

BTW.. these are the tools of 'big brother' and have been used by many tyrannical governments to limit thought and to punish dissidents. So, as I did, watch agendas, and notice when money is spent to purchase consulting or software from some of the named companies in the article. I knew when they bought SpectraSoft and tipped off some of my co-workers.

bike stuff.... my freeradical...

Now for another project, something different. I am about to build a cargo bike...I spent the better part of the day waiting for a package, waiting for the postman, who was running a bit behind. Then I saw the postal truck, then the unloading, then the box...  the box is now waiting in the back of my car... today the wind was blowing, about 40 miles per hour... tomorrow supposed to be better... so time to strip a bike down, and then to prep for the install,,,, a little paint....start by adding new wheels... new shifters... new derailleur... new gears.... mount the extension... fix the brakes... adjust... test ride...then the finishing touches... and more riding.... interested in what I'm talking about? This story is good... and a statement about the state of our society...have we become so cold we cannot help a fellow man/woman in need?
