1984 starts now in England...

Rather than address the problems of his austerity measures, David Cameron has decided to up the ante and give the police new powers and blame social media for the problems. England, the land of the Magna Carta has now decided that civil liberties need to be curtailed  and the police are the new 'gestapo'. How soon before this starts a trend and we see this here?
