something to read...

Another article on the London riots.. and a bit more truth is spoken. Hopefully someone wakes up and sees the problem rather than further creating problems as they try to suppress the youth through new laws and destruction of civil rights and freedoms. A police state is not the solution and will only make the problem worse. I fear we are heading towards a totalitarian regime in England designed to protect the wealthy from the masses. if Obama is to win..

Obama needs to take on the topic that is getting closer for all of us.. poverty. I haven't seen a pay raise, or a cost of living adjustment for years now and don't see any in the foreseeable future, yet prices continue to rise. If Obama wantss to win he has to acknowledge the poor, the elderly, the unemployed, and give some hope to those without. We need something to hold on to, be it hope or a promise, because in the last few years we have voted but have seen little change in our lives. He has to embrace the progressive cause and capture those votes or he may come up short and I don't want to see Rick Perry and his Legions of God in the White House. Posted on Dreamwidth

privacy and freedom under attack

Seems there are some who think they need to know what you do online. The same people who rail about big government want to have government become big brother and track you online, every website, every email, every transaction, and they want to give law enforcement access, without a warrant.  Watch the video and speak out against this bill. This creates a hacker's treasure chest, a chunk of data that could be hacked and used to create new identity, It can also be used to hunt down those who might in the future be opposed to government policies. BART kills cellular and data services in stations to thwart a protest..

Here is an example of the power of social media... BART considered it such a threat they shut down services in their stations so as to stop a protest... there has been talk of an Anonymous attack in store for BART... I now hope it happens.

This is a preview of the upcoming political convention season... so get your handheld radios and start co-ordinating and practice other means of communications, 'big brother' is planning to keep things under his thumb.  Remember, the best defense is a good offense. Keep them guessing and running around chasing phantoms as you regroup.
