This article shows the NYPD at their finest thuggery... Yes, they are thugs and don't deserve respect. Respect is earned and they haven't shown respect to the people.

The morning has broken...
Oct. 7th, 2011 07:01 amI didn't sleep much last night. I guess it is something bothering me. This morning I will attend a 300 family yard sale... not that I need anything, but you never know what you find at this sale, it is huge, and it has a little bit of everything. It is at a large RV park, and the people have quite a lot for sale.
Then I will get some sleep. Then I will plan a trip to scout Los Angeles and drop some sleeping bags at OccupyLA on Saturday, by train maybe. Sunday, back to Los Angeles for CicLAvia and OccupyLA.
Oh well, the sun is shining and they promise it may be warmer.
EDIT: I bought a couple of GPS units, they are old tech, but work fine. One is a Magellan Meridian Color handheld and the other is a Garmin GPS V, works as a handheld and as a device for navigating and it came with software and cables. I paid a ridiculously low price for each of them. I may gift one and sell the other.

the day...
Oct. 7th, 2011 10:17 pmThe day started very early this morning. It was something (there are a lot of somethings) that woke me at 3 a.m.. Anyway, I did some chores, and planned a dump run at 8 a.m. to attend the epic yard sale locally. This yard sale is held at a 300 family RV park. Prices are low, some beyond belief. I did spend a few dollars and bought two handheld GPS units, one Garmin GPS V and a Magellan Meridian Color handheld. Those cost me $13...I also bought a Radio Shack scanner, a pro 2050, 300 memories, and bands up into the 1200Mhz range. That was another $8. I'm gifting one of the GPS units, selling the other, and keeping the scanner.
