The Police State is now

Seems that Congress has decided that free speech and other parts of the First Amendment are something that we need to outlaw, so in their fear that we might just remove them from office they have given themselves a new law that makes protest and free speech a crime.  Read this article, then read the text of the bill... we just lost our freedom people.  Posted on Dreamwidth

watch out

The last time we were faced with an oppressive government those policies spawned the Black Panthers and the Weather Underground. I guess those in Washington feel they don't have to listen to the people.  I can think of those times, and now think the time has come for the true patriots to be prepared. I think I will see a new American revolution in my lifetime. It will not be non-violent and it will be one where people from the right and the left come together to change the system. Like someone else said, I hope those in power like living in fear because the people are watching and waiting... and there are more of us than there are of them. I'm not a violent person, I don't like killing things. Will I participate in this struggle? I'll have to give that some thought. BTW, this post has enough words to probably put me on a watch list... so if you don't see anything from me for more than a week, you know what happened.
