winter arrived with a vengeance...

It is cold (below 20 degrees) and I have snow, about 6 inches on the ground. Considering I'm at 4000 feet and have to climb to 4800 feet to leave this valley, I'll be here for a while.

The pipes froze last night so I'm iving on bottled water and the 10 gallons of spring water I have. The stove is trying to get hot, the coffee is done. A soup is cooking in the crockpot.

the sun is shining

The sun is out, snow is melting, but it is still below 40 degrees. My 'driveway' is going to be a mud bath, and the road in will be so too. So the car stays parked for a few days and the truck becomes the vehicle of choice. Took a bike ride, slip slidy style, had fun. Got out my snow shovel and cleared a path...now the soup is smelling like lunch, the fire is warm, and the day has promise.

DHS is watching social media and blogs to save us from those who would harm us... or s they say. We are now the target of their snooping. Here is an article that has a list of words they look for... and have fun because they may be watching you because you were talking about your IRA...

I'll keep them busy with my rants... that should give you some degree of safety.
