winter arrived with a vengeance...

curmugeonIt is cold (below 20 degrees) and I have snow, about 6 inches on the ground. Considering I'm at 4000 feet and have to climb to 4800 feet to leave this valley, I'll be here for a while.
The pipes froze last night so I'm iving on bottled water and the 10 gallons of spring water I have. The stove is trying to get hot, the coffee is done. A soup is cooking in the crockpot.

Date: 2012-02-28 03:50 pm (UTC)After my pipes froze and burst 5 years ago I added heat-ropes to the pipes that needed it the most, and have not had the pipes freeze since.
