Today was the swapmeet. I sold some stuff and in some respects let go of a bit of the past. My old motorcycle jacket (a classic black leather with all the zippers ) sold for $40. No more motorcycling for me. One thing I realize is that if I want to kill myself that would be an easy way. I sold more of my ham radio gear. I got a few items left and they are destined to go. While it is an old man's hobby it just doesn't fit me anymore. Sold some books. I'm now much more into having a library on a tablet computer. I sold my old iPad. It was ending it's lifespan as a tablet with no further upgrades available. It will see new life in someone else's hands. Those items leaving marked a point of letting go of past hobbies and distractions. It felt good.
