IRS tales

The IRS is a cruel master. When you owe them they show no mercy. After going back and forth I owe them $501 dollars. Add penalties and interest and it is $567 and change. So I will pay them over the next few months. Unfortunately for me I just moved up another bracket. It is strange what a little increase in social security does to your taxes. Yes. My social security is taxed. I'm considered too wealthy. Ha!

I'm glad the penalties and interest were only 66 dollars, as so often I find it's the extra assessments that sting so much.
