Its winter today. Cold, wet, windy. All was fine last night till my propane heater decided to quit. I then opted to add more comforters and hunker down. Woke this morning, cold outside, but snug in a warm bed. Payday is a few days away and I'll buy a new unit. I'm almost tempted to pull up stakes and head to the lower desert. I got to do a bit of scouting before that move. Either Ocotillo Wells or Slab City. Both places are remote, siesmically active, and contain a wide variety of societies castoffs. You must remember that I'm not "normal" in many ways. I'm a rebel at heart. I'll do scouting, take some pics, and then decide. New year approaches, so whatever.

Good luck! Any chance you were just out of propane? Anyway, hope you find a comfy and slightly warmer spot soon! Keep those posts coming!
