I guess I'll take a wait and see approach to the new 'owners' of LJ. I looked over the terms of service and like most, there are a lot of words that make it easy to change terms at any time. Also, there are a lot of items that could be used to limit freedom of speech and lead to a 'politically correct' journaling environment for the 'kiddies'. I guess 'law and order' has to come to the 'wild west', but what may be needed to to have some competition in the blogging arena. The war has started, Google, MSN, etc. see this as the next wave, so Brad's move was just a corporate 'circling of the wagons', a defensive measure for Sixapart, to insure they were not gobbled up by Gates and company. Now to ready myself for my mundane job. To the showers!
