It seems that Congress was in an uproar a while back when Dubai Ports World took control of many major ports in this country. At that time the jingoism was running high and a move was made to remove Dubai Ports World as the management firm in control. They (Dubai Ports) even said they would divest their holdings in six months time. We'll, six months have passes and hey haven't done it. It appears they want more time, and the deals are secret besides. Maybe the deal won't happen or it will happen when they are sold to the Carlisle Group, an American firm with strong ties to the Bush Crony Club.
