We have election day. The Republicans are working hard to disenfranchise voters, the Democrats and others are watching for voter fraud and intimidation. Either way, it will be days before we know the 'official' results and even then they will be suspect. We should separate the federal races from all others, declare a national voting day, and allow require everyone to vote. This should be a constitutional amendment (do you realize that you don't have a right to vote guaranteed by the Constitution?). 

I'm tired. It seems that I can't get sleep at home. Too many noises, too many disruptions. I need to exercise more. I need a few days away, but can't take that time now. How does a camping trip to a small desert park with hot springs sound? It's out of cell phone range, no TV, and you sleep in a tent. Oh, the area is somewhat seismically active. If you're sleeping on the ground, you might be rocked to sleep.Take a look at Agua Caliente Park.
