curmugeonI guess I'll have to start eating imported rice, as the USDA has now approved genetically engineered rice made by Bayer, a variety that has been found to have contaminated the rice seed crops in this country.
The USDA has now shown its true colors, placing business interests over the concerns of farmers and consumers. They have opened the floodgate to more 'frankenfood' to be passed off as safe to the American consumer.
These 'frankenfood' species are the latest craze, besides the use of nanotechnology, that the USDA has failed to protect the farmer and consumers interests.
