This is outrageous!
Thankfully, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Portland Medical Center is free from such religionism — at least in my experience as both an inpatient and outpatient. I was visited by a chaplain during my few-days' stay there (emergency appendectomy) a couple of years ago, but he was a cordial fellow who only wanted to know how I was faring and whether or not there was anything he could help expedite for me.
These fundies have to go! People on the job who find time for acting out their religionist fixations at the expense of patients and other staff need to be introduced to the world of reprimands and terminations.
