curmugeonIt felt like Monday from the moment I entered the office.
Absence does make the heart fonder, but it always yields a surprise or two on my desk.
While I was gone, my boss and another staff member got into a shouting match over a budget I prepared, some one of the powers that occupy the 8th floor (the City Manager's and City Council offices) made the decision that they wanted to spend more money on my project, so I'm back in the field revising the contract.
