pseudoephedrine and you may have to answer questions from a cop...

A few months ago, I had a sinus infection and my doctor told me to buy sudafed.

The 1st pharmacy I went to (on the way home from the doctor's office) only had a 12 pack. I bought it, and of course, quickly ran out.

A few days later I went to a pharmacy close to my house to buy more sudafed.

Both times I had to hand over my license and write my name and address in their log books.

I was sick, and very scared that a cop would soon be knocking at my door.

I warned my room mate, who happens to be pursuing his PHD in chemistry, that if the cops came to the door, just send them to me.
