How many places do you hang out on the net? Do you own domains? Do you have a blog other than LJ? Where do you have more friends, online or in real life?
LiveJournal.com is where I can usually be found, were one to actually look for me. I also post to a few message boards, though less frequently than in the past: The Talkboard is where most of my U.K. friends are; The Cat Arena is a U.S.-based board which isn't nearly as active as it was several years ago; and The Clangers is a U.K.-based number-crunchers' board associated with the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing and its related projects, such as SETI@home.
There are several other message boards to which I belong, but I just haven't the time to keep up with them all. I wish I could, though, because they're all populated with really-nice people.
I own one domain, "flyvapnet.com," which is in reality just a front for my on-line file-storage site. I used to own "joeharan.com," but I let it lapse a few years ago due to lack of inspiration.
Most of my friends nowadays are of the on-line variety. During my period of homelessness back in the 1990s I discovered that, when you're down and out, people stay away in droves; so I've few in-real-life friends anymore.
My friend's page is my start page when I first open my browser on one of my main pc. So yes, I'm here mostly.
I don't want to give my domains out here, seeing this is not locked but I have four.
Yes, I have two other blogs besides LJ.
I have more friends in real life but that's only because I qualify that word friend a little stricter than maybe other's do. It's hard to label someone a friend if I've never spent real-life time with them.
