It seems that as politicians die the documents are revealed that show how many times we have been betrayed by our government. In this case, a post by flyvapnet says it all. 

Israel killed American soldiers, wantonly, without regard to the fact they were unarmed. This was all in pursuit of their Zionist agenda. Hey, we aren't free, we are just a puppet state of Israel, so what about killing a few Americans? No big deal... NOT.

Read the post and read the replies, as I worked in the intelligence services, I read the now missing transcripts, and I will never forget how we were sacrificed for political gain. Our government lies, the Israeli government lies.  Americans die.... for Israel.

As I was working there at the time, Alan, I recall a hush-hush buzz amongst front-desk officers at the Joint Sobe Processing Center -- a "second echelon" intelligence-gathering post on Okinawa in the Ryukyu Islands -- in the immediate aftermath of that attack. The rumor which then circulated held that all copies of data and reports dealing with the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty were being "rounded up and sent to Washington."

I welcome your wisdom and insight. I sometimes (a lot) have a pent up anger at whet this system is doing to people and how integrity has been lost. I read and view your posts on the positive, but rarely comment. I do need to focus more on the positive, one being on renewing neglected friendships, and making new ones. Lately I've been sharing my knowledge of the local area with some co-workers, getting them to explore the area outside of the malls and amusement parks and discovering what a fresh picked apple tastes like, or letting them discover solitude in nature. That is what I'm trying to do to keep the positive flow going. To me, politics is personal, I take the time to write on a average of three or four times a week to my government representatives. I've discovered that some give a stock reply, others really read what you write and respond with a good analysis and their opinion. Those are the ones I'll support. Thank you for a bit of snap back to reality.
