curmugeon..After reading cathy_edgett 's post of a story in Vanity Fair I thought it deserved a wider audience. War is tragic and the cost is so great. Occasionally a writer portrays that tragedy well, and in the case the article is poignant and very well written. Read it and think, think hard about those young men and women in Iraq. These are very difficult times we live in, a time when politics and reality are hard to reconcile.
