I was in Huntington Beach today, a lot of people enjoying the beach.
It seems that the media has decided the war is inevitable. I feel for the families of the soldiers who have been sent to Kuwait to fight. This could have been settled during the first Gulf War, but in the usual fashion of our country, we never finish the job the first time, so as to save some suffering for future generations.
Word has it that the bombing starts on March 13th and the invasion starts on March 17th. This info was given to British troops.
Watching the news, Turkey will be a key, but will Turkey accept refugees? I doubt it as most of the lands bordering Turkey are in Kurdish control, and Kurds are like Al-Quaida to the Turks. Maybe the Turks will use this opportunity to seek revenge.
