The Vigil in Long Beach

It was cold, windy, and clear. We had a beautiful full moon and the fellowship of about 125+ people. I spent a lot of time relighting candles, we got some good press coverage from our local paper, and our pictures should be on the website soon. Overall a very moving experience. Heckling was a minimum, as this is a very liberal and Democratic area. It was nice knowing that this many people would brave the cold, the winds, and the lack of parking to participate in an act of conscience for peace.
