curmugeonIt seems the forces behind the toll road (SR241) are bound and
determined to get their plans approved. After a stinging 8-2 defeat at a
Coastal Commission Hearing they have decided to do an end run by taking
their case to the feds.
The have asked the Department of Commerce to step in and invalidate the
Coastal Commission ruling and allow them to proceed. The agency (TCA)
has filed documents and is trying to get this passed without a public
hearing in California.
