It seems the government now wants to take a look into your laptop, iPod, flash drive, etc... any electronic storage device...because they can... and will.... without a warrant... without just cause... without needing to explain to you why.
All this in the name of 'national security. If you cross a border, you might not see the device for a while, because they want to look at everything, look at your vacation pictures, check your emails, harvest your passwords and logins, check any financial records, read your journals, and make sure you are a loyal subject of 'King' George (Bush).
You want to be on a watch list? Want to be subject to being labeled an enemy combatant? Better hope you don't have an electronic copy of one of Che Guevara's books, or a quote from Chairman Mao. or that illegal download...
