My dentist today commented on how much dental crowns have gone up in price...even with insurance paying half the cost, my cost for one crown would be over $1000... So those old gold crowns in your mouth are valuable, he said that as scrap gold they are worth almost $400.. I can see it now, someone will be mugged and the theif will pull out their teeth for the gold.

In my case, bye bye tooth. Oral surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday.
