self-fulfilling prophecy......
Jun. 8th, 2008 09:18 amLast night late the news media locally were talking of $5.00 gasoline... and I'm sure its all part of the media spin to ready us to face that plateau, if it is not just a small stop on a never ending climb to economic collapse. Locally too many people are being hurt, horses are being given away because the cost of hay has approached $15 a bale. The trains are already crowded to the point that standing the whole trip is becoming commonplace.
My last project saw an increase of $10 a ton for asphalt, now averageing $85 a ton. Don't expect to see too many road repairs at that price. Fod is climbing, we face an increase in fares on the train soon (July up 8%), inflation is rearing its ugly head even though many politicians and 'economists' have their heads in the sand or stuffed up that anal orifice.
No, we are going to see a big shift in Amerika....
