it is official
Mar. 26th, 2009 03:13 pmI filed my retirement papers today. I'll officially retire on May 30th and see my first check on July 1st.
It feels weird to know that a 20+ year career is ending. Now is the time I start exploring the second half of my life.
I "retired"once before when I spent 4 years on disability. I spent those years exploring the United States by motorcycle between long trips to the hospital.
Right now I just had a sandwich and coffee at Panera, a great place with free wifi.
Time to explore the web on my netbook.
