2011 in review
Dec. 31st, 2011 05:27 amIt was not the best year...I started with a cut in pay of about $200 a month, then there was tax season. Learned more about living on a fixed income and learned to cope better with being paid once a month. Spent the first of 2011 being a caregiver, doing home hospice. Mom passed on April 11th. I had a major car accident (cost made it major, no injury). I spent the rest of the year working to maintain my health and sanity. I'm still playing catch up with estate matters, dealing with creditors, clearing out things, trying to keep on keeping on. Lost quite a bit of weight, but have gained back some, I'll fix that. Rode my bikes more. Made peace with my sister, a major gift this Christmas season. I did spend more time this year giving, not taking.
Next year, finish the estate matters. Get Medicare started. Ride bikes MUCH more. Have less drama in my life. Take more trips to find myself. Finally place my parents ashes in a final resting place. Find peace. Seek knowledge. Fight for justice.
I'll think of some more later... Today is the last day, tomorrow is a new year.
