this morning... a rant...
Jan. 9th, 2011 10:55 amThe Republicans and the Right want to blame the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords on deranged man, but they don't want to take any blame for the rhetoric and hate speech that triggered his act. They are a bunch of sociopaths. Republicans are in denial.
Then we have the political correctness of the re-write of Mark Twain's works. How dare they change a classic just because it contains an offensive word. He wrote it to reflect life on the Mississippi, and that was life on the river. I have a few choice non politically correct terms to describe my feelings on this.
I just read a poll that shows that only 31% identify themselves as Democrat. It was conducted by a reputale firm and reflects the dissatisfaction people today have with the current two party system. Now that we will have open primaries in California I will wear my Green Party label proudly. I cannot relate to either of the corporate parties or to the culture that rewards greed and lies and punishes people who speak the truth.
We have had a lot of catastrophes lately, with massive die offs of birds and fish. Now to throw another wrench into the gears.... the magnetic pole is shifting and it is happening at a fast rate.... can you guess when we have a massive polar shift? Like apocalyptic movies, you may soon be living that fictional destruction. Are the days of humankind ending soon? Be prepared.
And to end with a request that prayers be made for those who died and those suffering from this terrorist act.
