When Pat Robertson thinks the Republican candidates have gone too far right, it says something. He even quotes Lyndon Johnson! I'm glad in a way to hear this, as it looks like the insanity of the right might be their means to an end, the end of the Republican Party.

Apr. 4th, 2011 09:26 amWe are at a point in this country where we have to decide... are we going to let the Nazis (Tea Party Patriots) decide our fate, or let the corporatists (Republicans) run the show or do we stand up and fight? Either way we are fighting ignorance, bigotry, and people who let their dogma rule their actions. They are both sociopaths, and/or narcissistic people who have no moral values.
And, BTW, there are some in the Democratic Party who also fall in this category.

the Republicans are our Taliban
Feb. 12th, 2009 01:56 pmThe Republicans are demonstrating that they hold this country in little regard, placing their partisanship above patriotism. They are the party of the oligarchs, they represent the repression of the working class and all that may fall on hard economic times. They are not the Grand Ole Party, but Greedy Oligarchs Party.
There is a major disconnect between their philosophy and vision of the United States and what I'd consider a government of the people. No, we don't need them, don't support them, and never will support them. It's time we treated them as our enemy, the enemy of the people, demonstrate our disdain for all they stand for, and ostracize them at every opportunity..
