to the future...

Today I was pondering a bike ride as I looked out on stormy skies.. so I did just that... and used my road bike for the first time in over a year. It took a while to adjust to tires that run at 120 pounds per square inch, or a frame that is stiff to the point of transmitting every little ripple in the pavement to your body, but it is a joy to ride a bike that performs, and weighing a bit less than 20 pounds, it rides fast.... riding a mountain bike is like driving a truck.. this is like driving a Porsche Carrera S...
